Situated midway between Bristol and Bath lies Distillery II-a high-tech, top-spec studio. Designed for the artist, musician producer or performer. Distillery II offers a fully rigged, wholly private, entirely adaptive environment in which creatives can rehearse, record, perform and produce.
The perfect combination of vintage and modern equipment set in a sonically pleasing room that also offers a spacious and comfortable working environment.
The centre piece, The Rupert Neve Designs console, is only one of few currently installed in the United Kingdom. This is perfectly complimented by a more compact 1970’s ex-broadcast Neve 53 series. A fine selection of permanently installed outboard dynamics, equalisers and effects units along with mobile rack options provide an endless array of tonal possibilities.
A vast glass frontage provides a panoramic line of sight into the live performance space allowing seamless communication and visual contact between the rooms.
Our PMC 8-2 XBD mid-field speakers have been impressively soffit mounted within the glass, offering crucial monitoring of the highest quality.

This is an ample, fully sound-proofed space measuring 1371 sq.ft (127 sq.m). Height - 5.3 m (truss) to 6.78m. With a removable stage surrounded by truss for rigging and two generously sized isolation booths (4.3m x 4.5m each), this space can truly be made your own to suit your needs – be it for studio recording, production rehearsals, filming, or anything in between. The space is serviced with a loading bay and there is plenty of onsite parking.

Our green room has a full kitchen and eating area with modern amenities. This area can also be utilised as a casual meeting space, or an extended backstage area for any events in the live performance area.

Situated on the top floor of Distillery II, our production office provides a bright, air-conditioned space ideal for communal co-working or private business meetings. The room is equipped with a fully functioning media system for audio and visual playback.

Overlooking the live performance area, the VIP lounge offers a great viewing experience for rehearsals, performances and events. This area can also be utilised as an additional filming space.

The Festival Garden provides a space for some respite away from the rest of the facility. A bar made from recycled Whisky barrels, a full size American Pool table and plenty of comfortable seating and floor cushions.
