The essence of Reverend & The Makers has been there to see all along. The name ‘The Makers’ has never been simply tagged along as the backing band for ‘The Reverend’ Jon McClure–not least because since their formation in 2005, the ‘band’s continual evolution, has seen them cut across a creative spectrum, ranging from collective efforts to the frontman’s singular visions. Instead, The Makers is more a sobriquet, a statement of intent, a commitment and a guiding principle that has seen McClure consistently strive to build, innovate and grow musically and artistically.

Following the huge success of their 2023 album Heatwave in the Cold North, Reverend & The Makers return with their most ambitious record yet. Packed with star-studded collaborations and driven by a bold new doo wop tinged sound, the upcoming album showcases Rev at his most inspired.
